AIM :

            The Dept. of Agriculture is funcitioning with the aim of making available all the agricultural inputs, high efficiency technologies required for scientific farming and to provide all the technical needs to protect soil and crop health in order to increase the productivity.

          The Agriculture Department extends 50 to 75% subsidy on Agricultural inputs and equipments to general farmers and 75-100% for Scheduled Caste farmers who possess their operational land holdings in the Union Territory of Pondicherry.

          Interested farmers who want to avail these subsidies on inputs and Agricultural equipments may contact the village level extension worker and the Agricultural Officers of the concerned area. if there is any difficulty lapses they may contact the concerned Joint Director of Agriculture and Deputy Director of Agriculture as indicated in the citizens charter.
